1/2 Cord Kiln Dried Standard Mix
Our yard mix of firewood is whatever we are working with at the time. Usually a mix of Maple, Alder, Fir, and/or Birch. It can have some of each or just two of the species mentioned but always a mix of what is listed with no guaranteed ratio of a certain type.
Kiln-dried firewood is a high-quality hardwood firewood known for its excellent burning characteristics. Dried in a high-temperature kiln to reduce its moisture content to below 20%, this firewood lights easily, burns hot, and produces a long-lasting, steady flame with minimal smoke and creosote buildup. If you don’t have space to store a full cord it may be worth paying the higher price for ½ a cord, keep in mind the delivery fee is the same.
Maple is a dense hardwood, making it ideal for generating consistent heat over extended periods—perfect for home heating, wood stoves, fireplaces, and outdoor fire pits. The kiln-drying process also eliminates pests, mold, and fungus, ensuring a clean, ready-to-burn product year-round.
